كذلك يمكن للزوجة، ضماناً لحقوقهـا وتأميناً لما قد يترتّب لها من نفقة وتعويض، الطلب أمام القاضي المذهبي بإلزام الزوج بوضع كفالة مصرفية أو ضمانات أخرى تحت طائلة منعه من مغادرة الأراضي اللبنانيـة.
In principle, the decision to divorce is in the hands of the man alone. In other words, the man alone may end a marriage.
